Konoson · Winnipeg, Manitoba
Websites, apps and business systems, built one careful layer at a time.
From an idea to a product that is simple, elegant and powerful. Design, code, security and hosting under one roof, for new ventures and established businesses.

Every Konoson site starts as a plan. Slide across a project to see the drawing beneath the finished page.
How we work, on repeat.
We get to know our clients and empathize with their goals, but we don't stop there. We speak to users so we can understand their needs.
What we build.
Small budget, large budget. It's not about one size fits all, it's about building to fit the size. Rates are fixed and tailored to your project.
Web design
Not just aesthetics: navigation, speed, mobile friendliness and usability, handled so you can watch your idea come alive.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android built side by side, so you go live sooner. Native apps load faster, look better and feel slicker.
Online stores
Shopify, WooCommerce or Spree, with Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
Business systems
As a business grows, more time goes on record keeping. We automate and streamline the process.
Identity
Logos, stationery and social ads designed with the website, so everything shares one consistent theme.
Security
DevSecOps, cloud security and patch management from a developer who writes the audit tools himself.
Search and analytics
Why have a website that no one can find? Visibility first, then the numbers to understand your audience.
Hosting and support
Domains, IP addresses and MX records are our worry, not yours. We keep your site running.
Tools we pick from, to fit your constraints: Ruby on Rails, Django, PHP Symfony, React Native, Flutter, Ionic, MeteorJS · PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle · AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, Heroku · WordPress, Drupal, Strapi, Shopify · Stripe, Braintree, PayPal · Selenium, BrowserStack.

Solutions architect, consultant, developer and entrepreneur.
Konoson was founded to help local Winnipeg businesses bridge the technological gap: getting an online store going, running a research study, or turning a great app idea into reality.
Behind it is more than sixteen years of secure, scalable systems across agriculture, healthcare, education and government, with a focus on DevSecOps, Ruby on Rails and cloud security.
