In Higashi-Nihonbashi, where the feel of old Tokyo still lingers, the shop sits on the third floor of a classic building with a view across the houseboats on the Kanda River.
On the rails: ARCH originals, vintage, imports, and exclusives made together with brands that care about making things in Japan. Pieces you will only find here.
Trunk shows and order events run through the year, often with the designers in the room.

“This fabric is interesting…” At the AUBERGE 27SS exhibition: indigo cotton threads with nylon. The feel of denim, the smooth hand of nylon. Sometimes you know the garment and hunt for the cloth. This time the cloth came first.
Born in the 1950s as a US Army field parka. When surplus reached Britain, Mods and the young crowds after them turned it into a coat for the street. Not a copy of a uniform, but a light shell you throw over a shirt or a sweat in spring.
Finsbury Park: music festivals, a pub, all kinds of people passing through. Less a special place than an everyday London name. A coat that can shrug off a little rain.
