    Store

    The glove is stored in a flap-like pocket at the sleeve opening.

    Unfold

    The glove unfolds from the sleeve onto the hand while remaining connected to the garment.

    Pull out

    The hand covering is pulled out and positioned for use when needed.

    And back again

    The glove switches between a donned position and a stowed position. It never leaves the garment.

Flexible attachment options.

Potential attachment methods may include zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, or snaps, depending on garment construction and partner evaluation.

Shown on the left of Fig. 1. The patent also describes sleeves that attach to the garment with a zipper, so one sleeve could be used with more than one sleeveless jacket.

Certain detachable configurations may allow the hand covering to be washed separately.

Licensing allows an established apparel company to receive permission to use GLOV N® patented technology in approved products, categories, markets, or territories under a written agreement. GLOV N L.L.C. keeps ownership of the patent and brand.

Meet Linda Carter.

Linda earned an Associate of Arts degree and an Advanced Fashion Design Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), where she studied from 1980 to 1982. She brings more than 30 years of experience in fashion design and product development.

The idea for GLOV N® grew from her own experience as a mother, constantly losing gloves and watching her children lose theirs, especially in cold weather when they were needed most.

Her vision is to help established apparel companies offer consumers convenient hand protection that is always available when needed and much harder to lose.
