From a Leeds kitchen to shelves across the UK
Growing up in Nigeria, Zobo was everywhere. It was the drink at celebrations, the thing your grandmother made, the flavour that felt like home. When we moved to Leeds, we searched for it. We couldn't find anything that came close to the real thing. So we started brewing our own.
We made it for ourselves at first. Then church members tried it and wanted bottles. Friends shared it with their families. Word spread the way good things always do, and Cofa Limited was born. Every batch is still brewed with the same hands, the same care and the same recipe that started it all.
“My husband said it tasted like something his grandmother made in Lagos. He never says things like that. That told me everything I needed to know.”
