Twenty-one cameras on a sinking destroyer.
When the former Canadian destroyer HMCS Annapolis was scuttled as an artificial reef in Halkett Bay Marine Park, Gambier Island, Liquid Blue placed and retrieved 21 GoPro cameras throughout the ship to capture the sinking. We did the same for the frigate Hermenegildo Capelo off Portimão, Portugal, in 2013, a project run by CARC (Canadian Artificial Reef Consultants).
GoPro HD video to 100 m / 330 ft. Stills and video from fisheye to super macro to 65 m / 200 ft, in any environment.

The glass sponge reefs of Howe Sound.
Ongoing work around Vancouver: scientific project maintenance, mooring buoy maintenance, and a steady programme of photogrammetry and data acquisition dives on the glass sponge gardens and bioherms of Howe Sound.
The scan here is one of those dives: a rare glass sponge on a monitored bioherm, rebuilt in 3D from Chris's own footage.

Thousands of dives since 1992.
"My love for the ocean started back in 1992 with my first dives and initial certifications through VDTL. Subsequently followed a three year summer seasonal job at the Hillside Beach Club's Blue Dolphin Dive Center in Fethiye, Turkey."
"Thousands of dives and various certifications later, Liquid Blue represents my dedication towards marine preservation and everything ocean related. I am currently devoting my time towards projects in and around the Howe Sound area of beautiful British Columbia, with special research projects in the Hawaiian Islands."

No need to dive dark.
"The deeper we go, the less color we see. Over one half of the reds are filtered out in the first three feet, while half of the yellow light is gone at the ten foot mark. By thirty feet, everything has taken on a blue grey look."
That is why Liquid Blue uses Archon dive lights on every job, and why we are the authorized distributor for the entire Archon line in Canada. Lights from 75 to 13,000 lumens, spot or video, built for the explorer as well as the photographer.
- Affordability, while keeping quality and reliability
- Performance, all the way to 200 m
- Batteries the diver can change

Go deep, go dark, go Archon.
